Bill B. VanCleave, age 91, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, in his home of natural causes. He was born in Callaway, Nebraska, on June 13, 1933. He is preceded by his wife Marilyn, his parents Lee M. Bolton and Ruth Allen, two brothers and grandson Jeremy D. Doud.

Bill served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged July 31, 1962.
He worked at Tri City Ready Mix for ten years and at Southern Logging Co.
His wife Marilyn wrote a poem:
"This Old Ranch"
This old ranch was meant to be. It's brought so many people together you see. We always knew what grandparents were, but now we've had the chance to know for sure. We've watched you work from day to night and give it the best with all of your might. Through wind, snow, sleet and rain, sometimes we could even feel your pain. You worked the fences, hay, and cows. We often wondered, I don't know how.
So when you go and the ranch sees you leave, it knows there'll never be another Bill VanCleave.
