John Perdue

John S. Perdue of Days Creek, Oregon passed away on June 2nd, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born on November 24, 1953, to John and Anna Perdue in Canyonville, Oregon.

As kid John grew up in Days Creek where he lettered in basketball, baseball and ran track before graduating from Days Creek High School in 1972. After high school John started a career in forestry products by working for Herbert Luber Co for nearly 40 years. John was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, NASCAR and the community he lived in.

John was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna (Stewart) Perdue, and late wife Barbara S, (Dechateau) Perdue. John is survived by his wife Myrna J. (Russell) Perdue; Daughters Mindy Perdue, Stacy Perdue, Tami Todd; Stepsons Stephen, Oliver, Jonathan Walls; six grandchildren Justice Lucas, Nicole Gross, Sean and Zachary Todd, Dante and Roman Walls’ siblings Delois, Randy, Mary and Janice.

John will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity and love for his family.

A celebration of life will be held on August 15, 2026. Location details will be announced by the family.
