Our beloved mother, LaVonne May Miller, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2024 with her daughters by her side. She was 85.
LaVonne was born on December 17, 1939 in Klamath Falls, OR. She spent much of her life living in Riddle, OR where she met and married her husband, Edward, who preceded her in death in 1998. Also, preceding her in death are her parents James and Fonnie Brown, Brothers Donald and Jim, and her sister Rachael. LaVonne is survived by her daughters Debby Chilcote of Philomath, OR and Teresa Miller-Collins of Sweet Home, OR; 4 Grandchildren (Donald, Nikki, Curt, and Randy) and 5 Great Grandchildren (Quincy, Zander, Jonathan, McKenzie, and Patrick) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Darlene and Lillian and brother William.
LaVonne really liked taking care of her chickens, vegetable gardening, canning, and crafting. This past May she was able to enjoy her second trip to Hawaii with her daughters and son-in-law. She will be dearly missed.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28 @ 1:00p at the Riddle Cemetery in Riddle, OR.
